So La ¡Cinta! came up with this great idea that we could just dig a tunnel to all the great summer music festivals and concerts. Well sure enough, this was a terrible idea. We just escaped our underground hell, and as far as I can tell we checked off like 3 of the 50 stops we were planning to make. And to make matters worse, after several months in darkness, our first time breaking through the surface to witness some live music was terrifying! We were hoping to arrive in Los Angeles or Vancouver or somewhere cool, but our GPS wasn’t working so well and we ended up just outside Salmo BC (Canada) at this freaky acid hippy electronica festival in the forest. People kept yelling “Yah Shambala! Shambles forevers!” and we damn near lost our minds. The photo below is the first person we saw after emerging from the darkness, and things did not get any more “normal” any time soon.
Whoa! Spent 5 months underground, and guess what? Ground dwelling rodents do not have a knack for music.
